Pierre Therrien will host the fourth edition of Kéroul’s Opus Gastronomique
Montreal, August 2011
Kéroul is pleased to announce that Pierre Therrien, well-known television/radio personality and columnist, will host the organization’s benefit gala in September 2011.
“We are very pleased that Mr. Therrien has agreed to help make our event a success,” André Leclerc, Kéroul’s chief executive officer, said. “His professional presence and his warm voice will set the tone for this annual celebration.”
Chaired by Sylvain Langis, president of Groupe Orléans Express, the fourth edition of the Opus Gastronomique will take place Monday, September 26 at the Marché Bonsecours in Old Montréal. Aside from the culinary aspect, which will see more than ten chefs and pastry chefs from renowned restaurants share their know-how, the event will be the venue for awarding some well-established honours: the Michel Carpentier Award and the Mention Kéroul.
Tickets are still available at a cost of $300 each. You can also reserve a complete table for eight for $2,200. Availability is limited, so contact Michčle Côté without delay at 514 252-3104 or by email at infos@keroul.qc.ca.
A non-profit organization created in 1979, Kéroul works with the private and public sectors. Its mission is to increase the accessibility of tourism and cultural infrastructures to people with limited physical ability, who represent 15% of the population. The creator of The Accessible Road, Kéroul received the prestigious Ulysses Award 2011 from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
