Description
Located in the Sainte-Rose neighborhood of Laval, the Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles is a vast protected natural area where visitors can explore the river, its islands, and its biodiversity. Visitors can observe wildlife, hike the trails, and explore the archipelago by boat. The Exploration Center also features an exhibition, a turtle rehabilitation center, a café, and various interpretive activities. Among the site’s trails, the Hibou Trail—which has been converted into a bike path—is the most accessible to people in wheelchairs.
