Description

The Aanischaaukamikw Cree Cultural Institute is a museum and historic site located at 205 Opemiska Meskino, in Oujé-Bougoumou, Quebec. It is dedicated to the culture and heritage of the Cree people. The establishment was evaluated and certified accessible for people with disabilities by Kéroul in 2019.
It features 2 parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility, a main entrance with an automatic door opener, fully accessible exhibition rooms, an adapted gift shop, and a documentation and research centre with accessible tables. Guided tours are available upon request. Adapted restrooms are available, including a single-use mixed-gender washroom and accessible stalls in both the men's and women's restrooms.
