The footbridge has a slope of 3 to 5 percent, a width ranging from 106 to 128 cm, and is equipped with handrails. However, there are some obstacles, notably the absence of a curb ramp between the sidewalk and the roadway, as well as thresholds of 2 to 3 cm on the footbridge. The intermediate ramp has no threshold.

The crossing takes about 30 minutes. The Montmagny–L’Isle-aux-Grues Ferry connects Montmagny to L’Isle-aux-Grues, in the heart of the St. Lawrence River. This ferry service allows you to reach the island with or without a vehicle and is a wonderful way to explore the river’s scenery and this island destination.
