Description
The festival takes place in the heart of Quebec City's historic downtown during the month of July. There are a total of six stages. Festivities take place on the Plains of Abraham, Place George V, Place de l'Assemblée-Nationale, Carré d'Youville and the Manège Militaire. Numerous artists from all over the world take to the stage. This musical event offers a wide variety of styles.
Each section has its own official landing stage. And most sections are accessible by paved or asphalted roads. However, it should be noted that the historic city center, especially the sidewalks, has several paved areas with cracks and irregularities. There are rough maps showing some directions on the festival site. However, it's much better to consult the map section of the Festival website. It is then possible to select a more specific section of the site and locate the relevant information using the accessibility pictograms.
Guide and assistance dogs are accepted on the Festival site. It's important to have the animal's certificate with you, as you may be asked to provide it.
Please note that the site was evaluated for the 2024 edition, so subsequent editions may differ.
Temporary kiosks (bar, boutique, restaurants) have varying degrees of accessibility.
