The site consists of several sections (saffron fields, vineyards, raspberry bushes, etc.). Getting around the site can be difficult due to slopes and soft surfaces (lawn, dirt), but visitors are allowed to drive around the property to see all the different areas.

Description

Located in Clermont, in Charlevoix, Safran Nordique is an ÉCONOMUSÉE® dedicated to saffron cultivation in a northern climate. Visitors can explore the various stages of production, learn more about the uses of saffron, and take part in guided tours or tastings. They are also invited to stroll through the property to discover the farm’s other crops, including raspberry bushes and grapevines. An on-site shop also offers a variety of products made from saffron grown by the farm.
