Access to the Promenade Trail is from the welcome pavilion on Saint-Marc Street. For much of its route, the trail runs alongside the Parc de la Gorge campground, where a variety of recreational activities are available (see the Kéroul listing "Camping – Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook" for more information).

The Foresta Lumina trail, which follows part of the Gorge Trail, includes several steep slopes and requires the use of stairs. The rest of the trail also features numerous significant natural obstacles. There is a restroom along the trail that is not accessible.
Solutions may be available for people with limited mobility. Depending on their needs and when conditions permit, a staff member may transport them by vehicle to certain strategic points along the route to enhance their experience.
